Loc Foundations — Starting, Maintaining & Understanding Locs

Service Description

Build a strong practical foundation in starting, maintaining and understanding locs. This live online training covers consultation and suitability, loc size and section planning, starter-method choices, two-strand twist starter locs, loc development, foundational retwisting, interlocking principles, cleansing and build-up, thinning, breakage and troubleshooting. Suitable for beginners, developing locticians and hair professionals. Saturday 23 January 2027, 13:00–19:30 UK, live online. Launch price £197; standard price £247 applies later (this same service, price to be updated when the launch period ends). Certificate of Completion: TACHC Loc Foundations is awarded after attendance and final practical application. This is a foundation course and is not an externally regulated qualification or advanced loctician certification. Learners need a textured-hair mannequin/training head, stand or clamp, rat-tail comb, sectioning clips, water spray bottle, a small amount of suitable loc/styling product, workbook/notebook access, and a device with stable internet. Mannequin hair should be clean, detangled and ready to work on before the session.
